Hi, I am Nicola Grant, Executive Director of Positively Putney Business Improvement District. I have a long connection with Putney. I grew up in Wandsworth, went to primary school in Roehampton and shopped in Putney as a child. I remember buying stickers from a shop on Putney High Street and school shoes from what is now Pitter Potter on Upper Richmond Road. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>

I worked for Wandsworth Council for 14 years in the Economic Development Office before moving to run Positively Putney BID in 2017. I always thought Putney was the best part of the Borough. I love my job and am passionate about improving the vitality and vibrancy of Putney town centre. Unsurprisingly, I struggle to recommend anywhere else to shop or socialise other than in Putney.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What do you love most about Putney? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I love that Putney has such a loyal community. Everyone is always friendly and people are proud to live and work here. I love walking along the river bank as it has a holiday vibe. During lockdown, I have really missed being in Putney and talking face to face to our wonderful business owners and managers.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>
